My top 5 places to eat or drink:
-
New Buffalo Wings 3 located on 909
N. West Ave. ...Located right beside Arena and Canaries Stadium. Bar
with the best food prices in town. I recommend Steak Fajitias ($5.99) and
Miller Lite. FYI this draws a TBD. $
-
Skelly's located on 132
S. Phillips Ave, this has just been expanded
and doubled size in last year, is a Irish bar, it usually has
a free band every weekend at 9:00. Get there at 6 or 7 and eat then stay
for the band. Come early otherwise don't be surprised to wait. This
is downtown so beware of the one way streets. FYI this draws a older crowd
30+. $$$
-
Nutty's located on 3400
West 49th, this just been expanded also and doubled in size.
This is just a great bar to hang out. It has a deck and a great atmosphere.
It usually a ton people there. Did I mention free peanuts and you can throw
them on the floor. It has the largest beer selection in town. I recommend
the hamburgers because the buns are great. FYI this draws a 30 and younger
crowd. $$
-
Borrowed Bucks 3609
Western Ave This is the Country Bar of Sioux Falls. Yet it seems
also trying to be Sioux Falls Top 40 bar also. So who knows what you might
hear. The only food is peanuts and popcorn. This draws a mixed crowed and
usually is a hot spot after 10:30 - 11:00 PM $$$
-
Mulligan's Sports Bar Located
1912
West 41st this is probable the only place in town to watch several
games and ACTUALLY HEAR THE GAME. It has good food and happy hour. It is
the place to be for the big game. It is also a starting point for the night
before you goto Borrowed Buck ( block away) or Skelly's (downtown). You
get a mini football helmet on your table and you can listen to any game
playing on a TV. It also has a cool couches that you watch the game
on. $$
